Condor Associates was established in November 1981 by Arthur J. Conley and Joe Doorley. Arthur and Joe created Condor Associates with the idea of providing customers in the electrical industry with superior service and exceptional support. These are the same principals that Condor adheres to today.

In 1985 Joe Doorley acquired Arthur's interest in the company and became the lone share holder. Arthur, a graduate of Duquesne University and Infantry soldier in the European Theatre with 5 battle stars from World War II, retired to the North Hills of Pittsburgh.

For the first 17 years Condor Associates operated a 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse located in Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh. In 1998 Condor Associates made the decision to close the warehouse and move to its current location to concentrate on providing its customers more efficient and effective means for support.
